North Korea suffers from famine, and this is known to almost everybody. To settle the problem, Pyongyang came up with a stunning cure – with the help of 67-year-old German pensioner. So, what gimmick does the old man have?

The old man’s name is Carl, living in East Germany. In his home, there is a mysterious backyard, and you will encounter even more wonders in it. When stepping into the yard, what greet you are sacks of stale bread rolls lying on a patch of flowerbed. Going around a vegetable plot and a wooden shed, you will see twenty big cages.

老頭名叫卡爾,家住東德,他家有個神秘的後院,走進後院,會有更讓你想不到的事兒在後頭;

迎面而來的是一片花圃,上面堆著成包成包的過期麵包捲;

The 67-year-old pensioner opens one of the cage doors to reveal what looks at first glance to be a dog. It is certainly big enough. But a dog with floppy ears and whiskers?!

These are monster bunnies, King Kongs of the Rabbit World, weighing in at 10kg (22 pounds), with ears that look as tall as the Reichstag.
